Richard Orlin

As an artist and illustrator currently living in Northern Virginia, I have always had a passion to create art that makes people smile. In the early-eighties, I started my art career as a cartoonist/humorous illustrator in New York. My work appeared nationally in The New Yorker, Good Housekeeping, The Wall Street Journal along with other national publications. My work has won several industry awards and has appeared in several group shows. 

I currently create my work on a computer, which easily lets me experiment with different artistic techniques. That said, all of my artwork begins with good old-fashioned pencil and paper. I try to upload a cartoon each day...something that tickles my funnybone and, I hope, yours.
